Fall came and I was reminded of new beginnings.

I witnessed one of the most beautiful summers here in Seattle this year. And though it was beautiful, it was also unending and monotonous. The frequent traveling and lack of routine was rough on my spirit. Day after day of glorious sun, and I began to forget. It wasn't until a literal shift in the atmosphere from summer warmth to crisp and foggy air, my exhaustion lead to peace. Peace because I was reminded, that indeed, it was just a season and there are new ones to come.

Do you ever crave change? Not because things aren't well, but because they're exhausting?  I'm so thankful for seasons. No matter how hot or cold they are, they bring sensations of hope.
